ComAbility Releases a Clientless Mobile Data Wi-Fi Offload Solution

Available immediately, the ComAbility nexus solution provides relief to congested mobile data networks.

ComAbility (www.comability.com), the leader of network oriented subscriber and policy solutions, announced today the release of its latest mobile data Wi-Fi offload solution for wireless service providers. Helping mobile providers accommodate the surge they see in data traffic, the solution enables mobile operators to divert costly traffic from the mobile network, and offload it into the much less costly Wi-Fi network, without needing to run a dedicated client on their handsets. Mobile providers can now save on expensive infrastructure upgrades, without compromising the level of service they give to their subscribers.

ComAbility Joins the Wireless Broadband Alliance (WBA)

ComAbility, which develops smart Wi-Fi management solutions for large-scale Wi-Fi networks, joined recently the Wireless Broadband Alliance (WBA), an industry group that promotes enhanced Wi-Fi experience and simplified roaming worldwide.

With the increasing usage of Wi-Fi by new mobile handsets and consumer electronic devices, public Wi-Fi networks goes far beyond simple connectivity for transit users at airports and hotels. These networks use next-generation services to address additional Wi-Fi user segments and to offer differentiated services over the network. The smart Wi-Fi networks are expected to provide better user experience and more efficient use of the network resources.
"ComAbility, with its strong subscriber and policy management suite, has put as a target to promote the emerging Wi-Fi next generation services" says Mr. Doron Givoni, ComAbility’s CEO. "We believe that smart Wi-Fi networks are a key for successful wireless broadband services. This is a must for large-scale Wi-Fi s
ervice providers as well as for operators applying offload to reduce mobile networks congestion".
Following this goal, ComAbility is already in cooperation with Tier-1 Service Providers worldwide to improve the Wi-Fi service and user experience. Through its neXus suite for smart Wi-Fi management, ComAbility offers a comprehensive set of advanced subscriber and policy management capabilities, allowing service providers to effectively manage and control their broadband data services over large-scale Wi-Fi networks.
